Over the years we have often been asked for fabrics to make a small quilt for a baby and a modern lap quilt. Here we have mixed the two ideas and come up with a gender neutral modern quilt. Whilst this is not a lesson in traditional patchwork and quilting, it does give you the basics, including how to self bind. The quilt would benefit from further quilting, whether you add free motion, extra machine sewing or hand quilting. So if you would like a quick sew, with something to practise your quilting this would be fab!
